The Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine & Food Festival Guide

On June 23 and June 24, the 28th Annual Great Tastes of Pennsylvania Wine & Food Festival kicks off in Lake Harmony, PA.

While this 2-day outdoor festival celebrates PA wineries and restaurants, there’s tons more to do here, making it a fun day for people of all palates.

What Can I Expect at the Festival?

Of course, you can expect to delight your taste buds from 12 PM to 6 PM each day with samplings from an estimated 30 PA wineries, food, and craft vendors.

You can also look forward to:

  • Three stages of live music
  • A beer tent
  • Oversized yard games
  • Giveaways and contests

Past crafters have included 2 Classy Winers, Henna Tattoos by Cindy, and Essence of the Vine.

Aw Shucks Roasted Corn, Nico’s Pizza, and Meatwagon BBQ have also made an appearance in the past as food venders.

As for wineries, Moon Dancer Winery, Franklin Hill Vineyards, and Heritage Wine Cellars have all offered samplings over the years.

Where is the Festival Held?

The festival is held at and hosted by Split Rock Resort in Lake Harmony, PA. This family-friendly resort in the Pocono Mountains features an indoor waterpark, bowling alley, arcade, and movie theater.

Can I Be a Vendor?

Yes! The list of vendors is not yet finalized for the 2018 event. Applications are on the event website, so fill those out while you can.

Is There Anything Else I Should Know?

Since this is an alcohol-friendly event, all attendees must have a wristband and pre-banding will start an hour prior to the start of the event. They don’t allow outside food and beverages except unopened bottled water, but dogs are permitted if they’re kept on a leash.

General admission for the event is $30 for individuals and includes a complimentary wine glass for tastings. If you bring 24 of your closest friends, however, you can enjoy a group rate of $25 per person for groups of 25 or more.
