Audi Q7 Technology

Most modern vehicles on today's market come equipped with advanced technology, so when you're searching for a luxury SUV, you want innovation that's going to make you stand out. Whether you're looking to head out on an adventure, or just take on your everyday commute, the Audi Q7 has inventive features that'll improve your drive around Dallas and Clarks Summit.

To help you ensure that it has the features you want, our team here at Audi Wyoming Valley is providing you with this guide to the Audi Q7 technology.

Infotainment System

Let's begin with the standard 8.3-inch MMI® display, which functions as your command center. It works in conjunction with the MMI® touch technology, so you'll have a convenient alternative to using the touchscreen. You'll be able to handwrite your entry instead of typing it out from a selection of letters and numbers. On top of that, it'll make it easier to scroll through the maps on the standard MMI® Navigation plus system.

The standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration will enable you to stay up-to-date with your favorite apps and music, too! Then, when your favorite song comes on, turn up the volume with the available Bang & Olufsen® 3D Advanced Sound System with 23 speakers.

Finally, there's the available Audi virtual cockpit. It comes with a fully-digital 12.3-inch customizable instrument display. You'll be able to keep up with important information regarding your Audi Q7 without even taking your eyes off the road. This is thanks to the available head-up display, which projects information regarding the car's speed and navigation right onto the windshield.

Driving Technologies

You may already know that with the available 3.0L 55 TFSI® engine, you'll get 329 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. There's a good chance you're also aware that with this engine, the Audi Q7 can go from 0-60 MPH in just 5.7 seconds!

What you might not know about are some of the technologies that will make hitting the road even more exciting and give you greater command. For starters, there's standard quattro® all-wheel drive. It uses active torque distribution to give you optimal stability whether you're taking on a tight turn or cruising down a wet road.

There's also Audi drive select. This available technology allows you to fine-tune the performance of the Audi Q7. Simply choose from the seven modes and it can adjust steering input, gear shifts, and throttle response. So, whether you want comfort for a Sunday drive or off-road capability, this SUV can suit your needs.

Innovative Safety

The Audi Q7 has standard and available technology that can help keep you and your family safe, too. The standard Audi pre sense® basic can prepare for a collision by closing the windows and pretensioning the front safety belts. Plus, Audi pre sense® city will keep you aware of cornering and stationary vehicles, and it may initiate emergency braking if it detects a collision.

There's also Audi pre sense® rear. This available Audi Q7 technology monitors vehicles behind you, and if it senses an oncoming collision, it can take precautionary measures. When partnered with additional features like the available Audi active lane assist, you'll have more confidence behind the wheel.

The available Turn assist is an even more advanced feature. It can intervene if you attempt to cross traffic at low speeds and it detects a collision. On top of that, available Night vision assistant uses an infrared camera and thermal imaging to help you see farther down the road at night. It can alert you to pedestrians and larger animals as far as 300 feet up the road.
